System Administrator

As a System Administrator, you are responsible for the configuration of users in the site. You have the privilege to invite users, define the access level, functional bits and view complete access to all menus in the System Administration settings.

Below is the list of what you can see as a System Administrator and what you can do in the System Administration settings.


1Staff

  • Invite staff.

  • Enable or Disable staff from the site.

  • Enable or Disable staff from being a System Administrator.

  • View Spaces and Projects that a staff have access to.

  • Customize staff's Notification Settings.

  • Set the allotted Vacation and Sick Leaves.

  • Enable Masquerade Mode.

    When you enable Masquerade mode, this will give you the ability to view the staff's Streamframe account.

2. Client

  • View invited clients, and who are already in the system. 

    (This view can be seen in External bit, but only existing clients in system.)

  • View Projects that client have access in Streamframe.

  • Customize client's Notification Settings.

  • Enable or Disable a client from the site.

  • Enable Masquerade Mode.

    When you enable Masquerade mode, this will give you the ability to view the client's Streamframe account.

3. Teams

(This view can be seen in Manager and HR bit.)

  • Create and manage teams.

  • Create Approval Chain.

  • Delete teams.

4. Work Types

(This view can be seen in Manager bit.) 

  • Create and manage Work Types.
  • Delete Work Types.

5. Holidays

(This view can be seen in HR bit.) 

  • Add public holidays and set the ones that recurring.
  • Edit and delete holidays.

6. Archives 

(This view can be seen in Manager bit.) 

  • View archived Spaces and Projects.
  • Un-archive Spaces or Projects. 
  • Delete Spaces or Projects from archives.

7. Recycle Bin 

(This view can be seen in Manager bit.)

  • View Events, Comments, Attachments, Notes, Tasks, Deliverables, Posts, Projects, Spaces in Recycle Bin.
  • Restore objects from Recycle Bin. 
  • Hard delete objects from Recycle Bin.

8. System Logs

(This view can be seen in Manager bit.)

  • View all the users tracked logs in the site.

9. System Quota

  • View system overall storage quota
  • View all object's file size.

 

10. System Settings 

System Settings > System

  • Customize the site branding - Name and Profile picture. 
  • Set the retention period to store your objects in Recycle Bin before it will be removed from the system. 
  • Enable or Disable Two Factor authentication. 
    (If you choose to enable the Two Factor, users will be required to use the two factor authentication when signing in.)

System Settings > Absence

'God' Mode - Expose all Spaces/Projects 

God Mode basically means 'Expose all Spaces/Projects'. You can view and manage all public and private objects in the system. Simply go to the Settings icon and select 'Expose all Spaces/Projects' option.  

Only a System Administrator has the authority of 'God' mode.

Inviting Clients 

There will not be an 'Add/Invite' option in Clients under the System Administration. However, you can now add/invite clients explicitly through Projects that you want your clients to be invited.
